Joanna’s goth-punk erotica situates music at the center of her alternative lifestyle, and her site features interviews with an impressive list of performers. Based in New York, her work provides a counterpoint to the LA-centered porn studios.
Burning Angel’s unique take on porn inspired us to check out some other alternative porn sites that are geared less toward JOM (jack off material). Like Burning Angel, these sites strive for a distinct flavor: be it punk rock, humor or romance. One thing is for certain: online porn for women is probably better than some lame romantic comedy. Recently, we happened upon For the Girls, a comparably well-designed site that seeks to snatch up erotica lovers who, for instance, might not be turned on by a site like Fart Hammer or something. For the Girls has a neat concept, but better previews and a stronger call to action would make the site a bit more enticing. The webmistress of For the Girls also has a pretty decent blog about women’s erotica, which we read for a few minutes, and discovered some pretty juicy pornsites with funny titles like “masturbating men” and “cleopatra’s den.” Worth exploring, for entertainment purposes if nothing else.
Another truly unique site is Spice Cash’s Shhh.com. We were pleased and surprised to find a steamy Free Vicky Vette clip featuring Vicky’s real-life partner in some hot oral action (Note: the free clip loads automatically when you go to the page. Just wait and it will start.) Shhh.com also has some seriously sexy photo sets, like these shower sex pics. Under the poised exterior, Shhh.com is not quite as user-friendly as its site design promises, but updates are frequent and the offerings are diverse. They include advice, horoscopes, audio stories, movies and tons of hot, sexy pics. The owners of Shhh.com run tons of other, professional sites, allowing Sssh to pull from almost 10 years worth of breathtaking erotic photography. The content is exclusive to these sites, meaning that you have not seen these pictures 5000 times already. Shhh.com is a pretty decent bargain with some sexy, romantic stuff that is a safe bet for fans of chick-porn.
