RIP Mrs Robinson MILF
We at Booble are huge fans of MILFs in all their glorious forms and varieties, which is why we were so saddened to see the recent passing of Anne Bancroft. Our crack team of media specialists at Booble have scientifically determined that Anne Bancroft was the original American MILF. I’ll spare you the details but suffice it to say that prior to the movie “The Graduate” it really hadn’t occurred to every red-blooded boy coming of age in this country that his mother’s social friends were fair game for a little roll in the sack. As a matter of fact, The Graduate made MILF-hunting way cool. You know, like Dustin Hoffman-in-shades-staying out-all-night-tooling-around-in-a-red-Alfa-Romeo-Spyder-and-nailing-your-mother’s-friends kind of cool. And if you were really going for the brass ring, you’d nail the MILF’s daughter too.
Although Bancroft was best known for kick-starting the MILF-hunting craze as the seductress, Mrs. Robinson, in The Graduate, she did have other roles. She actually won an Oscar for her portrayal of Helen Keller’s teacher in “The Miracle Worker” and received four acadamy award nominations for “The Pumpkin Eater'’ (1964), “The Graduate'’ (1967), “The Turning Point'’ (1977), “Agnes of God'’ (1985). So, here’s to you, Mrs. Robinson . . . . we’ll miss you.
